Alibaba Cloud Security Group Open Ports
Alibaba Cloud security group is similar to a virtual firewall, with only ports 22 and 3389 open by default.
- In the Alibaba Cloud Server ECS console
Select “Instance” in the left column and find the ECS instance of the cloud server that needs to open the port. If not, remember to switch the region in the upper left corner.
- Click “More” – “Network and Security Group” – “Security Group Configuration”
- In “Configuration Rules”, open port 443 as shown below
As shown below:
Take port 443 as an example. In the “Inbound direction” of the security group rules, click “Manually add”. The rules are as follows:
- Port range destination: 443/443
- Authorization object source: 0.0.0.0/0
The authorization object 0.0.0.0/0 means authorization to all IPs. The above rule means that the cloud server port 8888 is authorized to all IPs. For security reasons, the authorization object can also be filled in with an IP segment or a fixed IP address.
